TOWS-WG Task Teams

The TOWS-WG over its period of operation has establised four Task Teams responsible for the provision of technical advice. 

The IOC-XXV Assembly adopted Resolution XXV-13 in 2009, which decided to establish the following Task Teams:

- Task Team on Disaster Management and Preparedness (2009-present)

- Task Team on Tsunami Watch Operations (2009-present)

- Task Team on Sea Level Monitoring for Tsunami (2009-2011)

The IOC-XXVI Assesmbly established an additional Task Team in 2011:

- Task Team on Hazard Assessment Related to Highest Potential Tsunami Source Areas (2011-2016)
